We love lightweight fun — and that includes what our clothes are made of. So while an MX-5 keeps things simple and honest, we try to do the same with our materials and production choices.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
Our garments are made from organic cotton certified under GOTS. This standard exists to ensure textiles are produced using strict organic fibers and environmentally & socially responsible methods — from the field to the finished fabric.
And if a fabric includes a small amount of polyester, it comes from recycled sources (because even an MX-5 knows the best upgrades are the ones that don’t add unnecessary weight — to your conscience or the planet).
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a certification system that tests textile raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods for harmful substances at every stage of production.
So your hoodie is meant to be cozy — not chemically suspicious.
FAIRTRADE
FAIRTRADE certification means the cotton in this product meets international Fairtrade standards — especially when it comes to working conditions and fair treatment.
Because “fun to drive” is great, but “fair to make” should be standard equipment.
Eco-Friendly Prints (DTF)
We use DTF (Direct to Film) printing — a modern method that allows for durable, high-detail prints with precise color and sharp lines (like a clean apex). DTF helps us print only what’s needed, reducing unnecessary waste compared to large-batch, mass production setups.
Result: your design stays crisp, your garment lasts longer, and we don’t print mountains of extras “just in case.”
